A recent electricity bill provides a starting point for discussing usage. Have the complete bill ready rather than only the amount payable. We will explain how to share it when we speak.
Describe your daily routine
Tell us when the property uses most of its electricity. Include daytime occupancy, business operating hours and any expected changes such as new appliances. The bill and your routine should be considered together.
Ask about the quotation assumptions
When reviewing a proposal, ask what usage information it is based on and how estimated savings have been calculated. Discuss imports, exports and your electricity plan rather than relying on the system size alone.
